Requirements

None beyond the role

Work through these checks in order. Most missing notifications come from the first three.

1. Are notifications turned on?

Open Settings in the left rail (on a phone, the account menu). It should say Notifications on. If you see Enable notifications, select it and allow notifications when the browser asks. See Turn on notifications.

2. Are they blocked?

Notifications blocked means the browser or phone said no. Dromix cannot ask again by itself.

  • Computer: select the lock or settings icon next to the address bar, set Notifications to Allow for your Dromix address and reload the page.
  • Android: open the phone's settings → Apps → your browser or Dromix → Notifications, and allow them.
  • Also check that your computer's or phone's do-not-disturb or focus mode is off.

3. On an iPhone

An iPhone only shows Dromix notifications if it has iOS 16.4 or later and Dromix was added to the Home Screen from Safari. Turn notifications on from inside that Home Screen app, not in Safari. See Install Dromix on your phone.

If you see Permission granted, but background alerts could not be registered. Open Dromix from the Home Screen icon and tap Enable again., do exactly that.

4. Your settings in Dromix

  • Categories: in Settings → Notification settings, check that Push is ticked for the category you miss. See Choose what reaches you.
  • Quiet hours: during My quiet hours, and your company's quiet hours, you get no push. Calls, mentions and urgent approvals still come through.
  • Muted chats: a muted chat sends no notifications until the mute ends or you turn it back on.

Still nothing?

Sign out and in again on that device, then turn notifications on once more. If colleagues are missing notifications too, tell your Company admin.
