Time clock and location setting
What switching the time clock on or off changes for your team, when Dromix asks for location, who sees it, and what to tell your team first.

- Time clock switched on
The time clock lets your team record arrival and departure in Dromix. Because each stamp stores a GPS location, the time clock and location sharing are one setting. It is off until Owner or Company admin turns it on.
Turn it on or off
- Open Company admin → Company → Settings → Time clock & location.
- Tick or untick Time clock and location sharing.
- Select Save time clock & location.
Open apps pick up the change right away. The change is recorded in the audit log.

Turning the setting off does not delete anything: earlier stamps and last known locations are kept.
Who sees what
- Each person sees their own stamps in Time clock. See Time clock: clock in and out.
- Owners and Company admins see everyone's stamps in Attendance and the last known location on the Map. See Attendance and the people map.
Dromix never tracks people in the background. Location is only sent while Dromix is open and the browser allows it.
Location is personal data. Before you turn the time clock on, tell your team why you use it, what is stored and who can see it, as your local law requires.
