Install Dromix on your phone

There is nothing to download from an app store. You open Dromix in the phone's browser and add it to the home screen. It then opens full screen like any other app, and alerts reach you when it is closed.

#Android

1. Open your Dromix address in Chrome and sign in.
2. When the bar Install Dromix · Alerts work when the app is closed appears, tap Install. You can also use the browser menu and choose to install the app.
3. Open Dromix from the new icon on the home screen.

#iPhone and iPad

1. Open your Dromix address in Safari (not another browser) and sign in.
2. Dromix shows Add to Home Screen · Share, then Add to Home Screen. Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
3. Open Dromix from the new icon. Use this icon from now on, not Safari.

Push notifications on an iPhone need iOS 16.4 or later and Dromix opened from the Home Screen icon.

#Turn on notifications

1. In the installed app, open Settings (on a phone, the account menu).
2. Tap Enable notifications and allow them when the phone asks.

It then shows Notifications on, and Dromix sends a test: Lock the phone now. A test call alert will arrive in a few seconds. Lock the phone and wait for the alert. If it arrives, calls will ring while the app is closed.

#Updates

Dromix updates itself. When a new version is ready, you see A new version of Dromix is ready. Tap Reload to switch to it.
