Requirements

  • Time clock switched on

Dromix only asks for your location when your company uses the time clock. It is needed to clock in and out, and it is optional for the team map.

"Location is blocked"

You or the browser said no earlier. Allow location for Dromix, then reload the page:

DeviceWhere
iPhone, SafariSettings → Safari → Location
iPhone, installed appSettings → Dromix → Location
Computer or AndroidSelect the lock or settings icon next to the address, allow location for this site, then reload

Clock-in errors

  • Allow location to clock in — like standing at the card reader.: the browser has not been asked yet or you closed the question. Select the clock button again and allow.
  • Could not read location. Try again near a window.: the device could not find a position in time. Move closer to a window or turn on Wi-Fi, then try again.
  • This device cannot share location.: the browser has no location support, or the page is not opened over https. Use another browser or the installed app.

I don't want to share

Close the Share location prompt with ×, or stop sharing later. Clocking in still needs your location at that moment. See Share your location with the team map.
