Photos and videos from your chats

Media collects the photos and videos from all your chats. They stay encrypted on the server and are decrypted on your device when you open them.

#Browse and search

1. Select your account picture at the bottom of the left bar (top right on the phone) and choose Media.
2. Choose All, Photos or Videos.
3. Type in Search by chat or file name to narrow the list.

Select a photo or video to see it full size. From there you can download it or choose Open chat to jump to the message.

#Delete

1. Select Select and tick the photos and videos. On a phone, tap them.
2. Choose: - Delete for me: it disappears from your gallery and chat. Other participants still see it. - Delete for everyone: the message is removed from the chat for every participant. This cannot be undone.

Delete for everyone is only offered when all selected items are yours. You can always delete for yourself.
