Currencies and exchange rates
Choose your base currency, let Dromix update exchange rates daily from the ECB or enter them by hand, and see how totals in mixed currencies are shown.
Who can use this

None beyond the role
Each deal keeps its own currency, for example EUR or USD. When Dromix adds up deals in different currencies, it converts them to your Base currency. Owner and Company admin set this up in Company admin → Company → Settings → Currency.
Choose the base currency
Choose the Base currency. You see Base currency set to ….
Totals that mix currencies are converted to this currency and marked with ≈: the columns on the Deals board, sorting the list by value, the pipeline on the dashboard and the top performer.
Daily rates from the ECB
Turn on Update rates daily from the European Central Bank. Dromix downloads the public ECB reference rate file once a day. Nothing about your company is sent. Update rates now fetches them straight away.
Under the switch you see when the rates were last updated, or Last update failed with the reason.
Enter a rate by hand
Under Exchange rates, each currency shows 1 [currency] = … [base currency].
- Enter the rate, for example 34.25, and select Save.
- The rate shows Set by hand. Daily updates never overwrite it.
- To go back to the daily rate, select Use ECB rate. Without daily rates, Remove deletes it.
A currency without a rate shows No rate: deals in that currency are shown unconverted.
What the team sees
When creating a deal, choose its currency next to the value; it never changes on its own. Totals with ≈ are estimates at today's rate. See Create a deal.
