Why can't I invite someone as Department manager?
Department manager is not in the invite list on purpose. Invite the person as a Member first, then change their role in Organization.

None beyond the role
The invite form offers Member, HR and Company admin, but not Department manager. That is on purpose: a Department manager leads a department, so the role only makes sense for someone who already sits in one.
What to do
- Invite the person as a Member and pick their department and job title.
- Wait until they have accepted the invite.
- Open Company admin → Company → Organization, select the person and change Role to Department manager.

Nobody can invite a second Owner. The roles of the Owner and Company admins cannot be changed in Organization.
