Fill in and use fields
- Custom fields appear in the add and edit forms of the record type, and on the record's detail panel when they have a value.
- In the list, add a field as a column and sort by it. Under Fields in the filters, add a condition such as Industry is Retail. Columns and filters are saved with a view.
- Select several records and use Set field to fill in a field for all of them at once.
- When you import a CSV file, you can match a column to a custom field.
Required fields only apply when someone adds or edits a record in Dromix. Records that arrive from WhatsApp, forms or the API can still be saved without them.
Archive or delete a field
- Archive hides the field everywhere but keeps its values. Use Show archived and Restore to bring it back.
- Delete field removes the field and all its values for good. Dromix tells you first how many records have a value.
