- Mailbox connected
You can write email from any mailbox you can open in Inbox: your Personal mailbox or a Team mailbox. The email goes out from that mailbox's address.
Write a new email
- In Inbox, pick the mailbox on the left.
- Select Compose.
- Fill in To and, if needed, Cc. Dromix suggests people you have written to before.
- Enter the Subject and write your Message.
- Add Files and images if needed. All attachments together can be at most 10 MB.
- Select Send.
While the email goes out you see Sending…, then a confirmation that it was delivered to your mail server. A moment later it shows in Sent.
Reply and forward
Open an email and select Reply, Reply all or Forward. The earlier message is quoted below your text, and your signature is added once, above the quote.
Drafts
Select Save draft to keep an email for later. Open Drafts in the mailbox to continue it.
Attached files are not kept in the draft. Attach them again before you send.
Your signature
Dromix adds your signature to new emails, replies and forwards: your sign-off plus the company part your admin set up, with the logo and links. You can edit it in the message before you send. To change it for good, see Your email signature.
When an email cannot be sent
If sending fails, you see Could not send with the reason, and the email is kept in Outbox with what you wrote. Open it there, fix the problem (for example a wrong address or too large attachments) and send it again.
If mail does not arrive or sync at all, see Email does not sync.
